hey bsk, we are seeing a shift in the way the ordinary Chinese see their position in the big picture. This was never possible in the past but now we see more unrest as ordinary people are gradually starting to overcome their fear and assert some defiance about their situation. This is the shift that is gradually biting at a regime built on fear and thugery. God help us when we eventually do succeed in pulling this huge nation into the present....actually having to abide by international standards, the toppling of the Berlin wall will seem like a pimple on a pumkin when this economic monolith succumbs and becomes just another player.Bring on India...and then...and then....maybe we should be careful of what we wish.
