That's why it is all the more important to bring the necessary fertilizer to the world's farmers. At the moment there are shortages throughout the developing world and even in affluent parts of the world. The world's farmers need capacity out of the fertilizer sector and so the arrival of the investor to this sector can only be good for the world's ability to feed itself.

There is some chatter coming out of the trade through my farm input supplier (also play footy together) and the price figures being bandied about for DAP/MAP in a couple of months time are very concerning from a farmers perspective. It is tight out there. You can't have a world of affluent farmers bringing significant volumes of purchases forward without it perpetuating shortages somewhere.
