Amazing how the forums Morrison loving right wingers prattled on about China but now they have lost interest in the topic. Is it because its Penny Wong that has been pro-active in trying to repair the damage in our relations with our Pacific partners. The Morrison govt lost the confidence of those Pacific partners, opening the way for China to make inroads into the region. China has however hit a stumbling block in Penny Wong who acted immediately to try and restore relations with out Pacific Island partners. The fact that the sweeping China Agreement has stalled for now gives some hope that Labors proactive supporting approach to the Pacific will restore confidence towards Australia.
