"Last week, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the new law was “very concerning” and Australia was prepared to “step up and provide support” to Hongkongers, although he didn’t confirm whether that would include residency."

the thing I just never get is WHY the hell our PM's (or ministers) have to say 'anything' at all on these matters

    just be quiet ------------

how bloody difficult is that? - just shut up

if some reporter asks you a question - all you have to say is that 'we do not comment on foreign matters' -

    that's it

now, behind closed doors - you might enable measures that you think you should ------------- but, just don't come out and say anything ----------------------- wtf is the point?

all it does and as sure as god made little apples all it's doing atm - is to bring large steaming turds onto your front doorstep

there's something very wrong in the heads of our leaders I'm afraid
