War is stupid. Young people sacrificed to bolster old people's ambitions. Wasteful, primitive and offensive to any thinking being. I must admit, I would think it unreasonable to die in a nuclear flash and to think of my kids being vapourised on the issue of defending Taiwan is not a good tradeoff. A pragmatist would probably think we are bringing a cricket bat to a gun fight and we are far better off playing the nuetrality game. Times are changing and it is better to comsider long term survival rather than stupid key board warrior posturing. To paraphrase Sun Tsu one should never enter a battle unless victory is assured.
