China imposing import duties when they are running a massive trade surplus could be confusing. Could it be that their economy is nothing like the stats that they are now putting out? While not impossible to get the odd bad one, I am expecting mainly benign to good stats in future.
At least we have Anthony Albanese, the soon to be elected future Trade Minister. Just heard him drone on and on, just the kind of guy to slip things past the Chinese by putting them to sleep.
