Even sillier as mentioned above is no one talks about how everybody is going to recharge their electric cars at the same time when they get home when there won't be enough electricity to boil water thanks to the deadheads in Government today.

Then we read the cries of joy from the Greenies as they celebrate electric cars...again forgetting that batteries need charging.
While other countries move to clean power through nuclear energy the dimwits here think they can shut down coal fired power stations and not replace them...relying on windmills and a few solar panels. ROFL.

One day all the electric car fans in Oz will wake up and realise they will have to move overseas to enjoy the electric driverless cars as Australia is too big, too diverse, our roads are crap, and the Government's are too broke to build basic roads and infrastructure, let alone embrace electric cars...

Of course you conveniently ignore the fact that the majority of our cars are urban and do shortish trips .

No , an EV won't be crossing the Simpson anytime soon . But compare the Simpson traffic numbers to the Harbour Bridge on any given day . I think there are a few more cars in the cities .

How will they charge them ? It has been already modeled on several occasions .
