There was another company think it was Metal storm on the ASX had similar issues with local take up wnet belly up . There is also drone shield on the ASX seems to be doing ok now cause of Ukraine and BIS supplying armour , not sure if Bush master is on the ASX name Thiele rings a bell makes APCs .
Much of these naval vessel weapon systems probably is beyond the Australian capability to manufacture, but there are niches .
