Firstly, the reason for the latest selling is three fold:
1. Current market jitters (moving to blue chips)
2. Selling always happens around xmas
3. Traders jumping stocks on an up market day
Without troughs and peaks there would be no market, so inevitably there will be selling. However, the MAJOR announcement will be China and not the Vic gov as some suspect. This is a major opportunity to BUY with news very close.
