Some bloke on radio last night sounded authoratative - waffling on about the pending election and what effect it'll have (and is having) on the market - he said it usually takes about three months AFTER an election for a bounce rally - whoever wins. So he predicts March - April for meaningful recovery.
If that's the case, let's all just all pack up and head for the beach. Or catch up with those unread books - unwatched DVD's - unloved relatives!

(But I have a cruise between now and then - and a bit of tramping through Bali Lombok Singapore and Malaysia - he he he he!!) Even seeing the Komodo Dragons (horrible things) - and the Krakatoa volcano, hopefully well dormant..
And - if the ocean around Sumatra re-vamps it's anger frenzy - well, I won't have to worry at all!!!!
