    Its my understanding from June last year that after preliminary processing in Malaysia the heavy rare earths (mainly dysprosium and terbium) were still sent on to China for final separation. Lynas was going to put in another circuit in Malaysia to rectify that but I had not heard that it was operational yet. Browns Range is going to be able to separate the HRE but its not quite operational yet and similarly with the Texas plant.

    That may have all changed now but that was the case in June last year.
