Yes they are fake news.
There are no mine and process plant images in anywhere.

See what I said above;

• There has been no proof of any mine and processing facility images posted on anywhere including by Nigerian gov officials or the Chinese yet!

• Chinese has done something in Nigeria (where its was buying lithium ore from artisanal miners for long time)because they are pushed to do so by the Nigerian government. However there is no evidence of what has been done. (There was a construction started some time ago but it was primitive). We can't see what has been done now.

• It's also said on the Reuters article; "The Chinese firms did not immediately provide comment". They don't want to show anything about their plant.

• It's highly probable that the Chinese has built a small plant and make a little bit of beneficiation for sending a better ore to China.They wouldn't built a plant for making serious concentrate. So they don't want to publish any image of the plants there.

The news posted here by the other posters are old news, from Feb.2025 and there is mine and plant images as well.

The Nigerian Fake Ganfeng which was started the plant construction last year (see the below old video) was was taken over by two Chinese companies in Feb. 2025.

The Nigerian fake Ganfeng (Avatar) started the construction work last year. See the video below. Even the President of Nigeria and governor Sule was there.






This news below was posted on Feb 2025 after the two Chinese companies bought the fake Ganfeng (Avatar). There is no mine on that image. It doesn't anything like a mine or a process plant.



This news below also from Gov. Sule's social media account I guess. The plant there doesn't look like a process plant at all. It's a kind of beneficiation plant as I told before.
