I am seeing a lots western looking influencer on YouTube and Instagram who are mentioning highly and pumping up the Chinese EVs. They are comparing BYD and other cars with the western brands and always Chinese EVs are beating the western cars.

Are they doing that for nothing?
Of course not.

Now you are seeing a lots of downrampers here mentioning how China is good at everything and how the west is so weak, how China is so strong, etc.. etc..

I am feeling very strongly that China has hired many people in our space too. We must just aware of that. That's why I put many people on ignore if they are not genuinely discussing the issues here.

I'm now talking to our LTR holders who don't talk but only watch at the background; please do not stay silent because these punters may get what they want.

THE US - EU - CHINA RELATIONS

There is another important issue btw.
What the Trump gov is doing is not a pure tariffs war, but a struggle to isolate China and a competition to prove loyalty and solidarity with the US by the other countries, especially the EU. Tariffs has been just a tool to start this political and economical war.

WSJ writes (on May 25th) that Trump expects the EU to do something to China. And when you look at it this way, the 90-day ceasefire with China is just the calm before the storm.

That means China will see a lot of headwinds on its way.
Just wait and see.

As LTR, we don't have a connection with China other than limited Sinomine contract. Our offtake clients are all operating in the western countries.

China will have to stop manipulating raw material markets, especially critical mineral markets. China will have to stop subsidising the lithium-battery-EV supply chain. That will make big difference on lithium prices too.

I'm sure about that and we we will see.
