I'm pretty sure a reciprocal trade deal US-China will happen fairly soon, but one that allows American manufacturing to grow back and doesn't allow for cheap Chinese goods to flood back They're both grown ups, they'll work something out. Trump is using shock & awe to show them there's a new show in town.
