Robert Prechter is actually a very optimistic person.

He has had a very interesting life and is incredibly successful.

His Socioeconomics is very, very interesting.

Just because we are bearish doesn't mean we are pessimistic.

I am personally very optimistic.

As to his trades, I don't follow them.

I noticed one of your tips VPG is down close to 40%.

Everyone gets some trades wrong.

I do know that Prechter generally backs his judgement.

If he went 200% short he probably made out like bandit in recent months.

It may have been scary as the market went higher but I would be interested to know if he held his position or was stopped out.

Some one could probably find out and let us know.
