re: re:china zn concentrate imports up.domum Yes they are poles apart as they are two totally different resources in both mineral and size as well as geological nature.Dikulushi's a relatively small open pit and Perkoa will be(if/when it happens)purely underground.This results in the project needing to be run by a company thats a specialist in underground ops anyway.Apart from smaller underground gold ops I dont know of too many companies that have run a reasonable sized underground op without contractors. So in terms of the actual nature of the project they were always going to be managed differently.
What I was more reffering to Sack was the nature of the market and how it tends to treat these emerging mining companies when they are close to finance.Avl/m was forever stuck in the low teens and my assertion is that brokers/instos will work this type of companies sp for all its worth.Just ask Mnut,Stonepony,etc,etc.
