The IP is very promising as you say and an update from the company would be very welcome, however I think the reason there is silence from management is in part because there is no news to report. I think you are expressing a sentiment shared by many of us shareholders, which is that we want to see progress by management.
Unfortunately, I get the feeling that management may be overwhelmed by the task it is facing.
In my opinion the company does not have the human resources to adequately investigate all the opportunities out there. I feel that the best response is to hire some new staff (perhaps temporary) to assist in this process. This may require a capital raising, but at least it would be progress, and it would increase the company's prospects immensely.
The future of the company hinges on finding new opportunities, and so it makes sense to raise money and put it towards that objective.
Am I alone in the belief that the company needs an expanded project team? I just don't see management being able to do the job by themselves.
I've switched my sentiment from "Buy" to "Hold".
