    I strongly suspect any REE pricing is purely CCP-driven regardless the talking points.

    The Chinese are not impeccable, not infallible, but what possible reason would they have for wanting REE prices to be lower?

    They want absolute ever-better control, certainly, as they always do; but in this case I suspect self-serving propaganda as in "We are trying got help!" but they are not really trying. Because they don't want to sell at any price that fails to capture full value and they know that they can employ more people and make more money by making use of it themselves in high value downstream. They know that. That's not an investment thesis; that's a fact they will make true use of.

    ROW must get it together; they must protect themselves; they must make their own metals and magnets from their own resources and mines or concede absolute power to those who do. Any ruling class vegetable that undermines an effective response to critical supply security concerns should be impeached. IMHO.
