everywhere is the same. Still remember 20 years ago, when the older people look at our generation and think that we are "spoiled" generation but we are doing just fine. just trust the young people they will do even better than us.

Chinese people does working very hard. Most people working in manufacturing industry only live with a profit margin of about 3-5%, but look at Australia iron ore for example has a margin of over 60%. it means the Chinese has to work 10 times as hard. to get same level of wealth. the significant growth of Chinese economy over the last few decades does n.ot come easy and there are side effects and a lot of people probably like myself come to Western country to get a easier life.

yes pension is a problem in China but if you look at the retirement age, China is male 60 and female 55, female labour 50. Australia is 65, US 62-67.

I think the Chinese government has the opinion that 10m birth per year is the ideal scenario and it works towards that. it reaches that in 2020 and it expects the birth rate fluctuates at this level. it may offer incentives if it couldn't reach the target so I am not too worried. Remember China has a strong government.
