if you are a baby boomer, you’d recall we were greatly influenced culturally by Western movies starring heroes like Roy Rogers, John Wayne and Gary Cooper. This was reinforced by a host of tv series like stories about Wyatt Earp, Gunsmoke (that’s Matt Dillon not Bob Dylan) , Cheyenne and the Lone Ranger.

as kids, we used to play cowboys and indians, sometimes dodging up a costume.
