I haven't thought of China having an inflation/deflation problem as much as a diving submarine on the Titanic problem. It is imploding.
But that is no reason to comfortably go to sleep. They can "waste" hundreds of millions of people and still "win" a war with the West. The CCP could easily think desperate times call for desperate measures.
