Is this a competition between economists to pick numbers that support their own agenda? Is that agenda political or mainly for profit?
All right, ask Ben "what would be the ramifications for ROW (including US, Europe, etc) of a Chinese trilemma?" Isn't it high time to ask some questions? Why is US treasury (and Congress) sending messages to ECB asking for "currency management"?
Why is it that US treasury feels empowered to tell ROW CB's what their currency is worth v USD?  When will US treasury (and congress) feel empowered to rethink the US open KA  dogma?
