china's energy requirements for the future

A bit of weekend reading provided by the US Energy Information Administration (eia) showing China's past v future energy demands.
As far back as 2007, their Natural Gas Consumption exceeded their Production becoming a net importer for the first time and that demand is compounding to extremely high levels, thus explaining their focus over here.
