@Cosmoterios - thanks for that explanation - some of it I knew and know - the pipeline dispute has been going on for years; I remember trying to plot the latest pipeline over which i remember Turkey and Bulgaria? were fighting - even though there is still a bit of oil in various places in Europe; in the Eastern parts of Austria, I know for sure - if you ever flew into Vienna, and then travelled from the airport by the designated rail link into Vienna, you would remember the vast oil refining and storage array at 'Schwechat'.
Norway is also an oil producer and many places in Eastern Europe, too. the sooner we get our 'alternative energy' act together the better for mankind.
