This is why the world desperately needs a second liquid fuel source, as a stop gap for current generation of petrol automobiles. The only one that fits the bill is ethanol?
So in the not too distant future, you'll have a greater choice at the pump; expensive petrol; not so expensive ethanol blend; or cheaper gas .. eth-anal? :P
Of course Diesel owners will have biodiesel.
