australia should have an independent foreign policy... being a vassal american state - it could be safe to assume that the chinese have a BULLS-EYE target set on sydney and melbourne - and canberra ..
the good news is that the nukes, icbms etc will be made from good quality australian iron ore (obviously converted into steel - using good australian coal)
