The sheer scale of environmental degradation in China and the massive clean-up job that awaits companies with cutting-edge technology to make a difference to the world's most polluted country such as that which CLQ has makes it impossible to put a price tag on how much money they can make. The opportunities, like the sheer scale of the problems, are literally off the charts.

$100 million a big step up from where CLQ are at now? You bet!

$100 million overstating the opportunities that might come CLQ's way given China's massive environmental problems? Hardly!

$100 million being an ultimately conservative figure for what CLQ can achieve in China alone, never mind the Rest of the World combined? You bet!

Now to get to the reason for this post.

The most relevant part of the following video (see link below) for CLQ shareholders and prospective shareholders is from around 1 minute 40 seconds through the 4 minute 20 second mark.

    * According to the World Bank 20 of the world's most polluted cities are in China.

    * China is the world's largest polluter.

    * A quarter of the world's CO2 emissions come from China.

    * China burns almost as much coal as the rest of the world combined.

    * During the November 2010 Airpocalypse in Beijing the pollution was literally off the charts. It exceeded the US Embassy's highest pollution rating.

    * Chinese scientists say in some places the air pollution has been so bad its effect is like a nuclear winter that affects plants' ability to grow.

    * China is home to 459 cancer villages according to Chinese media, academics and NGO estimates.

    * According to the Chinese Government by 2030 China will have used up all of its water - meaning that in just 15 years from now it will run out of water!

    * In the 1950s there were 50,000 significant rivers. Now there are fewer than half that number.

    * One-third of all native fish species in the Yellow River are extinct according to a 2007 announcement by Chinese officials.

    * Half of all China's lakes and reservoirs are polluted beyond what's safe for human consumption.

    * Across China 90% of the groundwater is contaminated according to the Asia Water Project.

    * In Shanghai only 3% of water is safe for drinking according to a 2013 Shanghai Water Census and over half the water is deemed to be so polluted it can't be used for anything, not industrial use, not even in a fountain.

    * According to the World Bank every year a quarter of a million Chinese people die prematurely because of pollution.

And if anyone thinks these problems won't lead to any serious efforts by Governments across China and that the Governments in that country can afford to ignore the problems and hope they will go away then think again.

The problems are getting worse, the rumblings amongst the country's populace are getting louder and the country's leaders realise it's now or never in terms of taking action to deal with their chronic environmental problems before their country is completely and utterly destroyed from the inside out from rampant, unchecked economic growth at the total expense of the country's environment and the health and wellbeing of the entire populace that live there.

China - the world's most populous country and a country that is becoming increasingly uninhabitable by the day.

Finally, see the link below for a news story on a pollution documentary in China that has attracted hundreds of millions of viewers ahead of the country's National People's Conference.

The message to Governments around China is clear - act today to clean up the environment once and for all or there won't be a tomorrow.
