A government that has promised to spend BILLION'S towards fixing the situation.
An Australia company with a solution that is cheaper to build, operate, recovers more water and is much more flexible in its application that others.
Now we have a joint venture between the company and the Shanghai Investigation Design Research Institute to market and sell the water technology.
If there was recipe for success in China this is it. Worth an investment IMO. A mid-long outlook is needed though.
The ownership structure of SIDR is also very important for CLQ.
SIDRI is majority-owned by the China Three Gorges Corporation - State-owned Chinese power company developing the 3 Gorges Dam Project... Just a small $26 Billion dollar project.
Three Gorges is also one of the worlds largest energy companies. The fact CLQ is now in bed with them through SIDRI is a major achievement.
SIDRI's other major shareholder is the Chinese Government’s Ministry of Water Resources.
Doesn't take much to read between the lines here...
One of the better speculative plays on the ASX IMO.
