And of course you realise, being the educated person you are, that there are 1,440 million (1.4 billion) people in China compared to 337 million in the USA, 146 million in Russia and 25 million in Australia.
So China's reserves aren't going to hold up for as long as the other countries.
I suspect that without importation of high quality coal into China then maybe there is a risk to the population.
The obvious inference imho is if China has the highest coal production, why doesn't it have the largest reserve.
