Chinchilla court.

Tomorrow [ 23/7 ] is our remand date at Chinchilla CPS. Am hoping that we will get a good result ie. all charges dropped. Will be contacting the CPS office latter in the day to try and find out the result.
The timing of this court date could work be quite favourable for Linc. Today, here in Qld, has turned into 'Campbell Newman, Sorry Day'.
He has been all over the radio/papers telling the voters that he is sorry for getting so many things wrong but he IS NOW listening. After the by election on the weekend, with an 18% swing against him, he is very nervous about his chances of getting back in, next year. I believe that he will do everything in his power to make sure that there are no stuff ups between now and then. If he has in fact, rushed in with these court charges and there is a good chance that Linc can prove they are trumped up, it would be a very bad look for the Govt. Perhaps as part of his 'sorry day' policy he might just cut his losses and withdraw the charges tomorrow??
