Just listening to our local ABC radio and heard a tail end of an interview on breaking news in Chinchilla. The gist of it was that authorities are on their way there, after receiving reports of leaking gases being detected by locals. This report then went onto say that these gases reported are usually the result of a coal burn and not CSG. The presenter then went onto the theory that Linc had a UCG plant out there and it was probable that it was the cause although he did say that it had also been shut down some time ago. He then went onto say that Linc were up on four charges relating to that plant. Anyway I am sure that the airways will be full of it today.
Just hope that if it has nothing to do with Linc, they are prompt in pointing that out!
