Thw Chinese can buy all the land assets they want but if things ever became serious then they can hardly pick up the land and take it home with them.
i wish I could print up some "money" and then buy things with it.
Until cash is tethered to something of intrinsic value instead of being a notional concept then there is nothing to stop any country from buying as much as possible.
The entire system is so corrupt and degraded that it is more akin to theft.
I hope we don't look back on 2020 as the good old days.
