Chinese are buying land everywhere

ScoMo announced today that some foreign bought houses have been bought illegally. Hence they have to be resold. It's a bit late to help FHBs though.

Last night I heard an interview with a French farmer who was complaining about the large amount of land that the Chinese were buying, in France. This guy said they were buying at double the going price. He also had a very similar argument for food security that you hear here.

He went on to talk about how the Chinese have bought huge tracks of land in Africa and Latin America. he was of the opinion that in Latin American the Chinese import their own farm labour from China. This was another familiar argument.

I think it's about time that we learn what the Chinese are really up to on the world stage.
