There are thousands of mining sector shareholders in NSW and VIC and I'm sure that many of them still are (or were) Rudd supporters. There is also a large % of died in the wool ALP voters in WA.
I love your passion and agree with most of your views but please don't overplay the parochial card too much because state v state arguments add nothing to this debate.
Having said that, I think that the proposed cap on state royalties is ridiculous and hopefully this stupid tax will fail to get up or be significantly watered dow.
