Interesting to see in the latest annual report Secvest Capital come onto the share register the 6th biggest holder of AVG shares......

See website below and read what they do and why they invest.....

I personally think AVG is a much cheaper and better takeover target than TWE.

Secvest Capital Pty Limited (SCL) participates/conducts in a number of investment banking activities and they include:

    ? Negotiated takeovers
    ? Negotiated mergers
    ? Equity structuring and/or raisings
    ? Debt structuring and/or raisings
    ? IPOs
    ? Private placements
    ? Business restructuring
    ? Underwritings
SCL adopts a flexible approach to its role in the investment banking area with a key focus on value adding.
The investment banking activities of SCL chiefly serve the needs of its own principal transactions as well as its business partners’. Participation in other non-SCL transactions would be considered on the merits of each situation.
Where possible, SCL endeavours to adopt a flexible approach with a focus on delivering a superior outcome for all parties involved. It is able to act as an arranger, a principal, a JV partner and/or a co-participant in suitable business opportunities.
The collective experience of the team covers a wide range of activities including M&A, capital raising, placements, underwritings, debt negotiation and restructuring, direct PE investments and on-market hostile takeovers.
Where appropriate, SCL will also engage its own network of proven and experienced external professionals whereby their presence will add significant value in a transaction.
Over the years, SCL personnel has participated in many successful transactions in the areas of M&A, capital raising, placements, underwritings, debt negotiation and restructuring, direct PE investments and on-market hostile takeovers.
One example of the successful transactions done in the recent times is the takeover of one of the only three licensed operating stock exchanges in Australia.

In that instance, SCL personnel initiated, led, managed and successfully completed the transaction in only approximately 2 weeks (covering from initial competitive negotiation, subsequent Due Diligence and final acquisition of the controlling interest).
In addition to the superior execution outcome, substantial additional value was also created in the transaction as the overall cost of it was materially below the replacement cost for starting the same.
