    Most of the foreign holdings of our water resources are the USA, then China and then the UK.

    I don't really cafe which country, they're all in it to rip money out of this country at the expense of decent, hardworking Australian farmers. In the end, we all pay the cost.

    Webster Limited, a publicly traded Australian company that produces 90 per cent of Australia's walnuts and is 19.5 per cent owned by Canadian pension fund PSP, has received $41 million in Commonwealth funds to grow its empire in the Murrumbidgee Valley, through building huge but very shallow dams with consequent disastrous rates of evaporation, thereby wasting water desperately needed by downstream farms and towns.
