Years ago a chinese gentleman knocked on the door of my aunt's house and offered her a million dollars for it. She declined but the same man came back a few months later and offered her two million dollars. She declined that offer too. I think her house is now worth a great deal more and the persistent gentleman was a shrewd operator whose ethnicity was totally irrelevant.
