I could not believe Alan Kohler's article this morning. If the chinese buy Rio and OZminerals I can foresee the end of IO and Copper as a profitable mining venture. They are buying up around the world and will control the price of the raw materials. AS for JRV I think that they will go after going concerns long before they look at explorers. If the Goverment is fair dinkum in saving jobs why dont they use the futures fund and buy both companies then when everything settles down again sell the shares back into the market. Would make a big profit I would think and everything stays under Australian control. Thats my thoughts so please dont abuse me for voicing an opinion even though it may be way of the track.
