Yep it's dam ugly under there, dust, bits of tape, wires everywhere, although it's neatly soldered and there is no hum or feedback when plugged in.
I'm not gonna go berserk modifying the electronics with orange drops or expensive pots, just a tidy up with a new switch here, new Jack plug there all carried out over time, doing all the work yourself is part of the fun with these guitars.
