I have no problem when makers put their own brand and name on instruments. Everyone copies the specifications of other makers guitars. That's what most small Luthiers do. You can buy the plans all over for a lot of the major Brand name guitars.
Big difference when they are made under liscense with their own name.
I have a problem with cheap crappy knockoffs when they even put the Gibson name and serial number on them.
