0134 GMT [Dow Jones] Fortescue (FMG.AU) up 34% at A$2.77, hits four-week high of A$2.93
on good volume. Two traders attribute today's FMG share price strength to the recent
completion of a large share sale by Russia's Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel, which
they say sold just over 150 million shares (5.4%) over the past few months. FMG spokesman
says company has no comment. Australian Financial Review Oct. 15 said that MMK might have
been trying to sell its 5.4% stake in Fortescue. (DWR)
