IMO the capitalist west will be in strife if in say 10
years time should the Chinese working class be better
off financially, educationally and health-wise
than their western counterparts.
The lockdowns of Covid has thought us that
about 60% of working class is about 2 pay
packets away from the dole.. not wealthy
by any stretch of the imagination..
Chinese policy specifically emphasises the
fair and equitable distribution of wealth and conversely
the clamping down severely on corruption .
IMO it will be interesting to see how all that pans out.
