FXstreet.com (C?rdoba) - China reported a CNY 6.461 billion trade surplus in January 2011, below the median forecast around CNY 10.7 billion as imports grew faster than exports. This result follows a CNY 13.1 billion surplus the previous month.
Chinese exports rose 37.7% YoY versus 17.9% in December, while imports climbed 51.0% YoY versus 25.6% in December.
