I see today that Lingbao Gold, a large Chinese gold producer, has taken an interest in GPR which is exploring on Woodlark Island off the coast of PNG, where it already has a mining licence and has approx. 1.7Moz of gold defined.
This follows an earlier placement to Mr Jingtao Chi of Hong Kong.
I am not aware of other Chinese interests in PNG gold and so this could be the start of something. If so, then Misima could be on the radar screen.
