My reply above is pointed at companies in general as well. WPL / COP / CNE etc... will do what ever they can to serve them selves. Their bottom line is what counts not ours...
Heck are we not doing the same to Cop/ Wpl? CN stated something along the lines of " Share holder value". Was it not stated at the AGM... " All about timing".
So we haven't timed it to the good of the JV to progress as quickly as possible to first oil for the benifet of the Senegalese gov/ people.
These businesses are there to make money! CNOOC is no different... they will not care the slightest if FAR gets squeezed out for nothing if there bottom line improves. Regardles of good intentions that have been put on paper...
