...downstream users are following Tesla's lead. If you can't get it at the price you want than build your own factory and find or buyout the cheapest mine. This strategy may be the new norm for EV manufacturers but for other lithium products such as power hand tools trying to do likewise is just trying to bluff. A big problem here for Galaxy Resources in this type of game could be investor pressure to show profit.
