Interesting that it states Congo-Brazzaville in the title.
In a Chinese business or industrial context, "project docking" often refers to the process of aligning or coordinating two or more different entities or projects to achieve mutual goals. This could mean aligning the objectives, resources, and operations of different departments, organizations, or even different companies. The term can suggest a form of collaboration or partnership aimed at mutual benefit.
Congo-Brazzaville (otherwise known as the Republic of the Congo) has a number of large IO opportunities further south of the Congo Craton, most notably Zanaga. I wasn't sure if the "project docking" relates to additional mine sites in the West Africa Region, or relates to the mix of Cameroon and Congo side mines. Certainly, the meeting notes centre around the co-operation of multiple agencies to provide infrastructure services, where we have recent commitments from the CSU (for the Information System Platform)...and now Hunan Energy Alliance (for the Power).
We already have the mainstay consortium partners to build the Rail corridor, build & operate the Mines and to process the Resources at modernized Ports. We even have the buyers of the Ore (Tsingshan International).
If a large Chinese workforce (consortium and alliance partners) descends on West Africa to build out Simandou, Mbalam-Nabeba, Badondo, Avima etc, then why not look at adjacent opportunities in Baniaka and Bakoumba in (G.A.B.O.N) and perhaps venture as far south as Zanaga...which requires power & rail (438km) to reach the autonomous port at Point-Noire.
The Holy Grail would be moving that expertise around West Africa to build out the numerous local and cross-border opportunities in Resource extraction and transportation.
This is moving ahead nicely. The pieces are undoubtedly coming together.
This must still be on track;
