If the CCP want to keep acting like a schoolyard bully more countries will just say NO to China without even considering the possible merits of an offer. I do not understand how Xi and his advisors can't see that China needs the rest of the world for raw materials, food and as a market for their products so if they continue to disregard international law and throw their weight around where it isn't wanted it will end badly for them.

On a different matter if Greenland has blocked a rare earth mine because the deposit includes Uranium then that is going to be difficult. Most rare earth deposits have a radioactive component, will Greenland stop them as well or will saner heads prevail. And if the world has to quickly transition to zero carbon power sources I suspect nuclear has to be in the mix anyway.
