A man sitting on the pavement- about 35-40 years of age with a sign stating that he and his 3 small children were homeless begging for money. Half an hour later I watched him take the sign down and get behind the wheel of a car no older than 4 years which appeared to be in pristine condition.
A few years ago as walking into the local shopping centre saw 4 aboriginals, 3 men and a woman, hard to determine their age, anything between 40-70 years of age and very black- looked like they had come from the bush. Asked for money, just mumbled no and continued walking. Don't know why, but felt really uneasy, looked in my purse, had a $5.00 note ( never carry cash), walked back out to them and handed the money to the woman. Later that afternoon went for my walk, it had been raining, ground slippery and uneven. Thought I'd better watch where I was going, looked down and there at my feet was a $20.00 note. In perfect condition, not a mark on it, and no one in sight. Very strange experience.
