I dont know much about XPD, but have looked at the financials and couldnt work out why a good companys share price was going down

How likely is the following hypothetical?

Chinese company lists and raises in Australia (eg SBB XPD) with strong safe balance sheet and promise of dividends

then the company stops dividends and companies seem to spend a lot of the money on buildings - buying/renting/refurbishing... where does this money go? friends? relatives?

meanwhile, the investors dont see a penny from that moment on

I lost a lot on SBB, and have been watching XPD - I cant understand why the Auditors arent looking deeper
